Tim MBKM Studi Independen Arsitektur Raih Mention Honorable Sayembara Desain Rusun Pra-Pabrikasi Rendah Emisi

Tim MBKM Studi Independen Arsitektur Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITN) Malang meraih gelar Honorable Mention (Kategori Pujian) pada Sayembara Desain Rusun Pra-Pabrikasi Rendah Emisi yang diadakan oleh Sekolah Arsitektur, Perencanaan, dan Pengembangan Kebijakan (SAPPK) ITB. Pemenang sayembara yang diumumkan pada akhir bulan November 2021 tersebut diikuti oleh kalangan profesional, umum, dan mahasiswa.

Untuk mendesain rumah susun rendah emisi di Kota Tegal, ketiga mahasiswa Arsitektur S-1 yakni Nico Firmansyah, Ahmad Sulton Royan, dan Ratih puspita Sukmawati memberi nama desainnya dengan “Anjakita”. Anjakita berasal dari penggabungan dua kata, yakni Anjak dan Kita. Filosofi arti rumah susun ini akan mengajak para penghuni rumah susun untuk “ber-anjak” baik dalam segi pemikiran, perilaku, maupun tindakan. Sedangkan kata “kita” mengarah pada penghuni rumah susun itu sendiri. Sehingga Anjakita memiliki filosofi arti beranjak, berawal dari kita (penghuni rusun).

Menurut Nico Firmansyah ketua tim, Anjakita mengangkat konsep ramah lingkungan dengan menerapkan tema arsitektur berkelanjutan. Pada konsep ini digunakan poin Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) untuk mencapai goals dari konsep rusun yang ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, bahan dan material yang digunakan juga menggunakan bahan yang ramah lingkungan guna mengoptimalkan pengeluaran dalam membangun rusun.

“Kami menerapkan sistem rusun hemat energi dengan banyak bukaan pada unit rusun. Dan penggunaan air hujan sebagai salah satu metode penyiraman tanaman urban farming. Dengan penerapan SDG’s, diharapkan dapat memenuhi segala kebutuhan penghuni rusun baik kebutuhan rohani maupun jasmani,” jelas Nico saat dihubungi lewat sambungan Whatsapp beberapa waktu lalu.

Dijelaskan mahasiswa asal Pasuruan ini, menitikberatkan pada point SDG’s desain rusun berkonsep ramah lingkungan. Dengan menerapkan struktur fabrikasi, rhizofiltrasi (filterisasi limbah air), cross ventilation, vertikal garden, urban farming, dan sebagainya. Filterisasi berguna untuk menghilangkan partikel yang tersuspensi dan koloidal dengan cara menyaringnya dengan media filter. Sementara cross ventilation merupakan bukaan untuk jalur udara berupa jendela, pintu atau ventilasi yang saling berhadapan pada satu ruangan.

“Vertical garden sudah umum ya, sebagai cara menanam dengan lebih banyak tanaman di lahan yang lebih sempit. Urban farming juga, umumnya untuk pertanian di perkotaan dengan memanfaatkan lahan terbuka seefektif mungkin dengan tanaman yang bisa dipanen dalam satu bulan. Selain itu, kami lengkapi juga dengan manajemen persampahan, dan lain sebagainya,” beber mahasiswa yang pernah mendapat juara 1 Lomba Desain Gapura Kota Pasuruan di tahun 2019 yang lalu.

Ditambahkan oleh Ahmad Sulton Royan, dalam membuat desain kali ini mahasiswa Kampus Biru memanfaatkan aplikasi Sketchup, Autocad, Coreldraw, Photoshop, dan Lumion. Sehingga didapat desain yang merepresentasikan maksud dan tujuan dari anggota tim. Serta memenuhi kriteria penilaian yakni: kriteria rumah susun yang layak huni, ruang yang disyaratkan, memiliki tema dan konsep perancangan, memiliki estetika perancangan, menggunakan metode konstruksi pra pabrikasi sesuai dengan ketentuan desain Industrialised Building System (IBS). IBS berupa aplikasi sistem modular, sistem komponen, joint khusus untuk komponen pra pabrikasi, serta mengaplikasikan sistem konsumsi energi rendah, dan rendah emisi.

“Konsumsi energi rendah dan rendah emisi berupa desain pasif pada kategori perencanaan. Seperti, massa bangunan, landscape dan vegetasi, serta selubung bangunan. Dengan mengikuti lomba ini, kami mendapat pengalaman baru, mengetahui dasar-dasar dalam merancang rusun rendah emisi dan ramah lingkungan,” tandas Sulton akrab disapa yang pernah juara 1 Archivolks 2021 Rendering Challenge UPN Surabaya pada Maret lalu.

Keikutsertaan mahasiswa arsitektur dalam sebuah kegiatan kompetisi/sayembara arsitektur merupakan salah satu dorongan dari Prodi Arsitektur S-1 ITN Malang lewat Bentuk Kegiatan Pembelajaran (BKP) Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang dimulai pada semester genap 2021. Mahasiswa akan dibimbing oleh dosen dan praktisi profesional.

Menurut Muhammad Nelza Mulki Iqbal, ST MSc, dosen Arsitektur ITN Malang, sebagai piloting kegiatan Studi Independen semester ini diikuti 3 mahasiswa. Dan melibatkan praktisi professional dari Atap Rumah Studio milik Moh. Syahru Ramadhan yang juga alumnus Arsitektur ITN Malang.

“Ini kompetisi kedua yang diikuti mahasiswa. Sebagai awal mereka (mahasiswa lainnya) sudah mengikuti Kompetisi Desain Ruang Kreatif yang diselenggarakan oleh Udayana Bali beberapa waktu lalu,” ujar Nelza yang juga dosen pembimbing Sayembara Desain Rusun Pra-Pabrikasi Rendah Emisi.

Dikatakan Nelza, yang membedakan keikutsertaan mahasiswa melalui BKP Studi Independen adalah fleksibilitas waktu dan beban pembelajaran. Karena kegiatan ini bisa dikonversikan hingga 20 SKS. Sehingga mahasiswa bisa lebih berkonsentrasi menelurkan karya tanpa bingung membagi waktu antara kompetisi dengan mata kuliah yang ditempuh.

“Selain itu, bimbingan intensif dari dosen dan praktisi akan membuat analisa dan keluaran produk mahasiswa menjadi lebih solutif, kritis, dan inovatif,” tandasnya. (Mita Erminasari/Humas ITN Malang)
