Tak Berencana Ikut Lomba, Mahasiswa Arsitektur Justru Meraih Penghargaan Honorable Mention Sayembara Desain Training and Sport Center AREMA FC
Malang, ITN.AC.ID – Awalnya tidak berencana mengikuti lomba. Namun, siapa sangka ketiga mahasiswa Arsitektur S-1, Institut Teknologi Nasional (ITN) Malang malah meraih honorable mention, masuk 10 besar Sayembara Desain Training and Sport Center AREMA FC, pada awal Juli 2022 lalu. Mereka adalah Heickal M. Aqil Biladt, Adhitya Dwi Februari, dan Fajar Izzat Rafiuddin.
Mahasiswa Arsitektur ITN Malang ini masuk 10 besar tanpa diduga sebelumnya. Pasalnya, mereka mendaftar dan menyerahkan karya beberapa hari sebelum Sayembara Desain Training and Sport Center AREMA FC ditutup.
“Empat hari sebelum penutupan sayembara kami baru mendaftar. Awalnya tidak ada keinginan (mendaftar) tapi didorong oleh dosen, dan diberi motivasi oleh teman-teman untuk mendaftar. Sedikit kaget dan tidak menyangka (masuk 10 besar). Saat presentasi saingannya keren-keren,” ujar Fajar Izzat Rafiuddin, ketua tim saat ditemui di Kampus 1 ITN Malang bersama teman satu timnya.
Mengangkat tema Kayana Shima. Kayana diartikan sebagai kemuliaan, sedangkan Shima adalah singa. Dimana Arema dari Kota Malang ikonik dengan perlambang singa. Maka, Singa Arema diharapkan menjadi sosok yang disegani di Malang bahkan luar Malang. Untuk menguatkan ikon Arema ketiga mahasiswa kampus biru ini menggunakan warna biru, dan merah untuk area sport center. “Kami gunakan identitas warna Arema yakni biru dan merah. Baik untuk sport center maupun interiornya,” kata Fajar.
Sementara, menurut Heickal M. Aqil Biladt pada desain Arema ini mereka mengangkat konsep desain kontemporer. Gaya kekinian dari desain arsitektur bangunan dipadukan dengan konsep green architecture. Dimana bangunan menerapkan banyak sirkulasi udara, dan pencahayaan dari sinar matahari. Memaksimalkan penggunaan energi alam ini akan meminimalisir dampak buruk yang nantinya muncul dari adanya bangunan bagi manusia, dan lingkungan sekitar.
Banyak ruang yang harus dibangun dalam area sport center. Seperti mess pemain dengan 30 kamar, lobby, Arema office, lapangan sepak bola, gym center, dan lain-lain. Untuk itu, bangunan vertikal tiga lantai didesain dengan memanfaatkan rooftop sebagai lapangan sepak bola. Letak lapangan di atap bangunan inilah yang menjadi keunikan dari desain mahasiswa ITN Malang.
“Letak posisi lapangannya berbeda dengan lainnya (umumnya lapangan). Lapangan kami tempatkan di atap lantai tiga. Kami kembali ke konsep awal, bahwa kami berharap tim Arema (prestasinya) selalu berada di atas,” ujar Heickal.
Keunggulan lain desain mereka adalah adanya sirkulasi yang fleksibel. Pemain dan pengunjung bisa masuk, dan mengitari lapangan dengan mudah. Bahkan disediakan lift, dan ramp untuk memfasilitasi disabilitas. Ramp merupakan bidang miring yang dipergunakan untuk mempermudah suatu kegiatan.
Membuat desain besar dengan banyak persyaratan tentunya penuh tantangan. Dijelaskan oleh Adhitya Dwi Februari, tantangan desain training and sport center ini adalah dalam hal mengolah tapak yang tidak rata. Selain itu, saat presentasi mereka dihadapkan pada terbatasnya pengetahuan karena masih semester empat.
“Kami masih semester empat. Nah, saat presentasi ada pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang materinya belum kami dapatkan di kuliah. Pelajaran yang belum kami pelajari sudah ditanyakan. Seperti struktur, RAB, dan lainnya. Ini kan proyek besar, sedangkan kami materi kuliahnya belum sampai ke situ,” ungkap Adhitya.
Ketiga mahasiswa arsitektur ini sepakat ingin terus berkarya, serta tetap eksis mengikuti event-event lomba. Dengan mengikuti perlombaan mereka akan mendapatkan pengalaman, menambah ilmu, membuka pemikiran lebih luas tentang arsitektur, serta menambah relasi. “Setelah ikut sayembara desain Arema FC kami lebih percaya diri. Ini menambah motivasi bagi kami kedepannya,” Adhitya Dwi Februari menambahkan penjelasan kedua rekannya. (Mita Erminasari/Humas ITN Malang)
